A very common species in middleshore rockpools. Images taken at various locations across Devon and Cornwall. Abundant in rockpools at Spit Point, Par, near St. Austell, Cornwall.

Coral weed, Corallina officinalis, and other similar species of Corallina are important intertidal species of algae for stauromedusae and many species take advantage of it. Species include Haliclystus octoradiatus and Calvadosia cruxmelitensis.
