In North America Lucernaria quadricornis is known as the Horned stalked-jellyfish, ref. A Practical Guide to the Marine Animals of Northeastern North America, Leland W. Pollock, 1998.

* With the absence of a common name for this species in the UK, I see no reason for not adopting the name Horned stalked jellyfish here in the UK.
