Images taken of eelgrass beds occuring across the south coast of Cornwall. Images taken at Hannafore near Looe, Marazion near St. Michael's Mount and at Long Rock near Penzance. Eel-grass is a nationally rare species and is a very sensitive species, it can be affected by pollution, disease, trampling by humans and by anchoring. It is a very important species in that it provides a very important habitat for a wide range of animal species.
